We had a common visitor again

The "little" Huntsman comes to see us once in a while in our bathroom.

Scary appearance, really huge, but actually harmless – but still, we don't like it.

This one on our fence is a "smaller" (slightly) colleague of our bathroom friend.

On the left in the top picture you can see the toilet (like half of it) ... this spider really is massive :-o

Daytrip II: Blue Mountains

1,5 hours from Sydney

The three sisters

Der Sage nach wurden die 3 Schwestern von einem Zauberer zu Stein verwandelt, um sie vor einem Mann, den sie nicht wollten zu retten. Doch bevor der Zauberer sie wieder erlösen konnte ist er gestorben, und so bleiben sie auf ewig Stein.

zuerst mussten wir die Giant Stairs runter (wirklich Giant! 900 Stufen, aber eher eine Leiter, fast 90°, immer mit Blick auf hunderte von Metenr nach unten! uuuuuuuuhhh)

…um dann nach 1,5 Stunden Wald-Wanderung mit einem Cable-Car in 2 Minuten den Berg auf der anderen Seite wieder hochzufahren. (wir haben fast 1 Stunde nach unten gebraucht!!)

aber die Aussicht von der anderen Seite lohnt sich auf jeden Fall!

... und der Kaffee ist mehr als verdient :-p

AAAAAAAAHHHHH.... Ich konnte nicht hinschauen!!

Trip I: Hawkesbury River

Bäume ohne Blätter, dafür umso mehr Blüten!

Bäume in Reih und Glied. Die Rinder und Pferde scheinen geradezu dekoriert.

puuuuuh that rock is heavy

....getting tired!

Yeeeaaaahhhh! the top!

....but I have to say I was quite happy when we were on the way back. It was really, really high up, without any boundary like at least a little fence or something similar. It just went straight downhill!
